-Both engineering and problem solving skills that come with education and experience.
-Looking for the right combination of hands-on knowledge of injection molding,painting,launch and plant floor management in an automotive supplier environment.
-Strong leadership and interpersonal skills are required to work closely with internal and external customers to resolve manufacturability issues
-Ability to lead cost reduction activity through lean manufacturing and continuous improvement,computer literacy,good organizational skills and PPAP experience are a big plus.
-Advanced manufacturing input using SPI Knowledge Based Product Developtment initiatives
-Engineering or related degree or 3 years experience in a anufacturing environment.
-Possesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices
-Must meet minimum testing requirements
-Agreement to complete all post hire training
-Good English

Represents the engineering department in activities related with Industrial Engineering, Manu-facturing Engineering and mold repairs. Involvement in process/product continuous improve-ment. Assume responsibility for the department when the manager is absent or as needed.

Leads internal AQP teams in launching of new products. Maintains effective communication between Project Engineering in Kalamazoo and the plant. Leads molding and finishing natural teams in the duties assigned to the Engineering Department. Complies with the environmental policy and applicable quality and environmental management systems instructions. Comply with the Workplace Safety and Health Policy and applicable instructions.
