Key Responsibilities: Graphic Design
Working with marketing manager to discuss the business objectives and requirements of the job; Interpreting the company's business needs and developing a concept to suit our purpose; Estimating time taken to complete work and providing budget for company; Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research; Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts; Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time; Presenting finalized ideas and concepts to marketing managers; Working with a wide range of media, including photography and computer-aided design (CAD); Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work; Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief; Designing and developing all company marketing communication collateral materials for different regions Creating and developing company marketing communication collateral materials: such a stationary, product and project brochures, case studies, poster and booth design, print and online advertising etc. Job Qualifications:
Fluent in English and Chinese Formal education in graphic design and web-design At least 1 year(s) of working experience in web and graphic design Self-motivated, team player, good presentation and co-ordination skills. A good sense in layout, design and user-interface Extensive experience working on a Mac and PC platform. Skill on Windows; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Extensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, In Design, Quark Express, Page Maker, Front Page and 3D Studio Writing web pages in a combination of codes, such as hypertext mark-up language (HTML), JavaScript, Action script, Cold Fusion, Java, Perl and Flash, or using code-generating programs, such as Dream weaver; Knowledge and demonstrated experience with cross-browser and cross-platform issues (IE, Firebox, Safari, etc.) Superior knowledge of current web-design trends and techniques, a strong online portfolio displaying user-centered design, and experience with web database solutions definite assets. Formal training in desktop publishing applications, and photography definite assets. Deciding on how images and other material will be digitally optimized and presented for the web; Producing a design that will be attractive to the target user, has a logical navigation system and has all the features required; Deciding on how images and other material will be digitally optimized and presented for the web; Ensuring that material on the web site is accessible to all groups including those with disabilities; Testing the site for functionality in different browsers and at different resolutions and fixing errors.
