Purpose: To ensure raw materials, in-process product, finished product, and plant environment complies to company microbiological specifications.
Qualification:
1.4 year degree in microbiology
2.At least two years experience performing microbial analysis in GMP/GLP environment.
3.Experience in handling live cultures
4.Experience in micro organism identification
Knowledge and Skills Required:
1.Possess good microbiological techniques and good analytical skills
2.Able to communicate in English (orally and in writing)
3.Good report writing skills
4.Computer literate
5.Good organizational skills
6.Must be a self-starter who is able to work with minimum supervision
Responsibilities:
1.Perform microbiological assays on raw materials, in-process product and finished goods.
2.Performs environmental monitoring of air, water, and surfaces.
3.Prepares test media and reagents.
4.Implement, revise, and review microbiological procedures.
5.Write clear and concise reports.
6.Performs validations.
7.Implement and maintain schedules for microbial environmental control.
8.Support the organization's quality, environmental, and safety management systems.
9.Promote hygiene awareness and improve hygiene practices within the factory.
10.Sources and maintain microbiological chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
11.Ensure calibration of microbiological equipment.
12.Performs corrective actions as required.
13.Ensures the compliance of the company to all legislative requirements regarding microbiological issues.
14.Administers microbiological laboratory files.
15.Performs special assigned projects.
