Nemko (Norges Elektriske Materiellkontroll) established in 1933 is a self-owned international certification company. Nemko has been an active player and founding member of mulitple multi-national certification schemes such as Nordic EMKO-scheme, the European CCA and IECEE CB-scheme.
With decades of multi-national business practice, Nemko has become global leading certification supplier through worldwide testing, inspection and certification services to electrical and electronic products.
The Nemko Group has currently 500 highly-qualified engineers all over the world spread on locations in Norway ( head office) , Germany , Finland, Sweden , Italy, USA，Canada，Korea，Japan， China Taiwan，China Hong Kong and China mainland.
Nemko came to China in 1998, establishing our first representative office in Shengzhen. We have since then expended to other main cities like Guangzhou, Shanghai and Beijing. The Nemko Group provides assistance, testing and certification to manufacturers within the field of IT/ AV, Household, Luminary, Power tools, Components. The service scope is mainly Safety, EMC, ROHS, EUP and TCO. Chinese manufactories such as Haier and Lenovo are our clients.
Nemko has got CNCA approval for establishment of a "Wholly Foreign Owned Entreprise" WFOE, as one of the first wholly foreign owned certification companies in China. Our laboratory in Shanghai is now under establishment and we are experiencing a very rapid growth.
