Responsibility:
Administers Human Resources processes and programs primarily for the Research and Development organization, with general support for Sales and Sales Operations.
Builds networks within the recruiting community, develops ideas and strategies for recruiting technical personnel including:
? Drives the technical recruiting process.
? Screens resumes, arranges interviews and gets involved in the interviews as necessary.
? Establishes a network within the HR/Recruiting community in reviewing trends, developing recruiting pipelines for both new graduate and experienced engineering candidates.
? Supports the college relations and recruitment process.
? Builds and maintains relationships with universities, engineering departments, and professors. Works with Academic Marketing on dispersing grants, donations and scholarships to maximize NI name recognition and recruiting success.
? Initiates and coordinates contests and other events that will help recruiting (such as programming contest, hardware design contest and sponsoring NI club in universities).
? Liaison to university career office.
? Develops proposals and strategies for improving recruitment success.
? Advises and assists supervision in the development of recruiting strategies for experienced technical resources.
Requirements:
? Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a relevant technical field
? 5 years of HR experience, with a minimum of 2 years technical recruiting experience preferred.
? Strong interpersonal skills and people skills, works well with people
? Demonstrated oral and written communication skills.
? Fluency in English preferred.
