Key responsibilities include:
Seafreight Management
Ocean chartering; Rate negotiations with ocean carriers, port terminals, port storage yards, stevedores etc.; Pantainer handling (rate negotiation and filing), develop, implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures; Control all operational activities; Control administrative file handling and record keeping; Operations staff training; Regulatory compliance; Develop and maintain a good relationship to authorities; Arrange for marine surveys, Port attendance, Marine Insurance, Booking Notes, Charter Parties, Service contracts, Shipping terms
