职位描述/要求:
Business Area Overview The individual will be responsible for the complete hardware project from conception to manufacturing release. Projects will include system architecture/definition, reviewing logic and analog design proposals, compliance testing, manufacturing support, and managing outside contractors. The successful candidate must be a self starter capable of working independently, have excellent communication skills, and be a solid team player, motivated, goal oriented, able to work with top-notch team in a fast-paced environment. Support operations in failure analysis, and provide corrective action recommendations. Responsibilities: -Defining hardware architecture -Creating and updating product features specifications -Test plan definition for both proto and pilot phases of development cycles -Holding schematic capture, layout, and mechanical design reviews and recommendations -Holding design for manufacturing reviews and recommendations -Meet target reliability requirements Skills/Requirements: -Experience in high speed design and signal integrity -Generating detailed technical hardware specification -Thorough understanding of thermal analysis and recommendations -Familiarity with lab equipment and ability to debug to a component level. -Ability to perform logic design -Responsible for interfacing with major technology suppliers (chipset, processor, memory, network, etc) to understand roadmap and plan for upcoming refreshes. -Run the system performance/benchmarking across the product line using standard software tools -Responsible for project management including managing system development at a contract manufacture and/or 3rd party engineering services. -Manufacturing support including release documentation, ECO creation, 2nd source component approval, troubleshooting system to component level. -Compliance Engineering including, regulatory debug and testing, safety testing, and/or Factory inspection - Interface to the Change Control Board (CCB) and responsible for hardware engineering approval for change orders. -BS/MS in Electrical Engineering with minimum 10 years experience -Must also be familiar with processor, chipset, Gigabit Ethernet, SSL technologies. -Design for testability, manufacturability, reliability, and regulatory compliance -Electronic design tools including Or CAD, Allegro, Protel -Good verbal and written communication skills a must -Working knowledge of test and measurement equipment, troubleshooting and electronic debugging is required. -Some mechanical knowledge is a plus. -Ability to travel to contract manufacturing facilities as required Travel Requirements: Occasional (domestic and international)
